After photographing over 30 weddings at the picturesque Tumbling Waters Retreat, I can truly say it is one of the most wonderful places for wedding photography.

Getting ready for your wedding at Tumbling Waters

If you would like to get ready for your wedding at Tumbling Waters Retreat, there are many beautiful options to choose from. There are beautiful rooms, gorgeous suites with outside baths and one with a wet edge swimming pool - all with stunning views. The Lux Ocean Suite is a great choice if you are having a big bridal party and or family getting ready with you. It has a bedroom, big open living and kitchen and a wet edge swimming pool.

Wedding Ceremony at Tumbling Waters Retreat

The wedding ceremony is normally held on the lovely lawn just next to the Tumbling Waters Reception area. There is a beautiful large wooden arbor you can personalize with your decorative touches to reflect your style. You can also hold the wedding ceremony on the terrace with the stunning ocean backdrop. If it is a rainy day, Tumbling Waters has a great wet weather alternative in the big lovely atrium adjacent to the reception room.

Wedding Location Photos at Tumbling Waters Retreat

There are so many beautiful spots at Tumbling Waters Retreat for the location photos so you don’t really need to anywhere else for the photos. We have an amazing pond with views over the ocean, the bridge with all the ferns and the rainforest feel the big lawn surrounded by trees, the terrace also with stunning views and just beyond the borders of TWR is a great bush setting with large gum trees and tall grass. The Beach is only 7 minutes away so some beach photos is also easy to get. TWR is also great for drone photography. With the drone, we can also capture the feel of being on the edge of an escarpment, where the mountains and rainforest meet the sea, which is a truly unique.

Apart from the breathtaking setting, Tumbling Waters has fabulous staff who are great to work with. The cuisine is really beautiful … they have a great chef!! The reception room has beautiful views and an adjacent great Atrium where the dance floor is. There is a elevated little balcony above the dancefloor - the perfect place to capture the first dance.

Tumbling Waters is a super convenient location in Stanwell Tops being only 60 minutes south of Sydney CBD and two and a half hours from Canberra.

Tumbling waters combine luxury and fun! Close to Sydney, there are not so many locations where you can get all the photos you are after in one place. Often, we take some time out after the ceremony for location shots with the bride, groom and bridal party. At Tumbling Waters, you have it all in one place. As your wedding photographer, I am excited to photograph a coming together of love where the ocean meets the mountains.
