A Dreamy Wedding Ceremony at Long Reef Golf Club

Nestled on Sydney’s stunning Northern Beaches, Long Reef Golf Club Wedding Venue offers an amazing setting for a wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony is most often held on the beachfront lawn, framed by panoramic views of Fisherman’s Beach and the Pacific Ocean. It is a breathtaking backdrop for exchanging vows. With the gentle sound of waves and the salty breeze, couples can say “I do” in an idyllic, intimate setting that feels both serene and grand. If it is a rainy day, the ceremony can be held inside at the Reef Room, so you always have a backup at Long Reef Golf Club Wedding Venue

The “location” shoot

…after the ceremony is over and we have done the group photo and family photos, it is time for the “location shoot” - meaning we (photographers) take the bride, groom and bridal party to a location for photos. The many and varied beautiful locations at Long Reef are the main reason why I love shooting there so much.
We have several beaches to choose from, a golf course, deep red cliffs (you could think we were on the coast of Western Australia), walkways with wooden bridges, a cool boat ramp, an old shack, golf carts, and so much more.

I do most of my location shoots on the Long Reef Beach side of the golf course. To get there, we jump in golf carts and drive across the golf course guided by one of the staff. It takes about 10 minutes and is a lot of fun.
On arrival, we usually have a drink and chill out before heading off to shoot.
There is also Beautiful locations close by to the golf club itself. We have a great wide boat ramp where we often shoot with the bridal party and we also can drive cars down there and use them as a backdrop. Fishermans Beach is also a great place to shoot.

The Pacific Room, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious alfresco terrace, hosts up to 140 seated or 180 cocktail-style guests, while the Reef Room suits intimate gatherings of 40 seated or 45 cocktail-style. Enjoy canapés and drinks on the terrace, followed by exquisite meals from in-house chefs, tailored to dietary needs. The wedding team handles everything, from cake cutting to coordinating with top vendors, ensuring a stress-free celebration that ends by 11:30pm (or earlier on weekdays).
