SERGEANTS MESS CHOWDER BAY WEDDING – SOPHIE & BLAKE

The weather forecast for Sophie and Blake’s Sergeants Mess Chowder Bay wedding day was rain rain and more rain, but what a beautiful day we got. Sophie & Blake was referred by Lucy and Jake – a lovely couple I photographed a year ago and I was looking forward to meeting them all again.
Started this wedding day photographing the groom and the groomsmen getting ready. When I arrived they were all in their suits and thankfully they had done the bow tie’s, as from my experience this can take some time 🙂
Sophie and the bridesmaids were just finishing up makeup, and they all looked pretty relaxed.

The wedding car picking up the girls were about half hour late to pick up the girls, so Blake had ample time to get really nervous waiting inside the beautiful Sacred Heart church in Mosman.
After a beautiful ceremony we had to hurry of to the location shoot as the sunset was only half hour away.

Bradleys Head is a stunning place to shoot and we arrived just in time for a few sunset wedding photos. We also got a few night time wedding photos in before heading to the Sergeants Mess for the wedding reception.
And what a night it was. One of the highlight was when just after the first dance Sophie disappeared and arrive back having changed into one of those latin dance costume and wowed everyone with an amazing dance routine – so much fun.
Slide McBride was the band on the night and they were fantastic as always.
