ATHOL HALL WEDDING – HELEN & MOUSTAFA

Helen & Moustafa held a beautiful and intimate lunch time Athol Hall wedding. I was a stunning winter day, a bit cold but the sun and the love was keeping us warm 🙂 Helen and Moustafa, both got ready at Rydges Hotel in Nort Sydney. There was a “critical moment” when Moustafa was going to lace up the back of the dress. I saw he was struggling, I stepped in and gave a hand, after all I have seen this intricate work done a few times 🙂 and I have to say together with Moustafa we did a great job. Helen looked just amazing.

The wedding ceremony was held on the lawn at Athol Hall. Athol Hall is one of my favorite places to shoot. It has amazing grounds with bush and lawns, it even has it own private beach 🙂
The ceremony was beautifully held by Cheryl Forbes, without any hiccup….. except when stepped into a whole in the ground and fell flat on my face. It happen on the side behind the couple so everyone had a great view of my graceful fall. It must have been so funny to watch 🙂

We did a big group photos of everyone and some groupings of people, before taking of for the location shoot around Athol Hall. A few days before I had done a Location survey. I have been photographing at Athol Hall for many years, but thought it would be great to explore the surroundings again. I found a few new really cool places and on the the wedding day they worked so beautifully. As well as shooting on the upper lawn some bush tracks, we also headed down to the Athol Beach were we also used the drone for a few photos.

The wedding reception was held at Athol Hall, and thanks so much to Loren and the staff for looking after us so well.
