It was lovely photographing Tara and the girls getting ready at Newport, on the northern beaches of Sydney. Everyone was pretty relaxed and having fun. Tara’s wedding dress was just beautiful and she also had two pairs of wedding shoes – one pair of high heals and one pair of white thongs. Perfect for the beach.

The ceremony took place at Freshwater View Reserve in Queens Cliff – a great place with views over Freshwater beach. It was a cloudy day but the rain held off until after the ceremony and family group photo was done. The wedding car was a beautiful kombi.
Our plans for the wedding location photography were mostly in the Palm Beach area, but we stopped off at Long Reef for a shoot as the clouds looked very dark up towards Palm Beach. We got some great wedding photos featuring the kombi and the dark sky as background. At Palm Beach we stopped at the Palm Beach ferry wharf and had a great time photographing before driving to the reception at the lovely Beach Road Restaurant at Palm Beach.
