3:30 wedding ceremony start – 3:29 start raining.
This has been the typical scenarios the last 4 months, but hey who cares, shooting in the rain makes for some fantastic wedding photos and what a amazing day Laura & Ben got in the end.
The ceremony was to be held on the lawns in front of the beautiful Dunes Restaurant in Palm Beach. Ben and the boys were greeting guest and getting ready for the ceremony. Ann from Outdoor Wedding Aisles were setting up a lovely Bamboo Canopy. As mentioned just before the arrival of the bride it started to rain. I was very impressed by Ben’s relaxed attitude to it all – got a great photo of the groom smiling and talking to Laura on the mobile in the rain.
The ceremony was delayed to 4:00 while the great staff at Dunes made it all ready for an indoor wedding ceremony.
After a lovely ceremony the bridal party and I took of for a hour and a half of wedding location photos around north Palm Beach. The light just got better and better and I had a fantastic time photographing. We used both the Pittwater side and the ocean side for photos.
I staid up til the bride an groom left the reception.
